This is a link for a video on youtube to find out how to draw some cartoon facial expressions.
These videos helped me a lot or you could just search to where the link brings you.

Let's Make Cartoons!

Okay if you know how to make a reasonable stickman with shapes and lines, you can make a cartoon character. Take a look at this picture [ center right ], All it is is simple shapes and lines with alot of detail. I too was a beginer and became a sucess, so you should probally become a sucess too. It took a bunch of practice like drawing on my library folder and drawing at home. So just draw shapes, add detail, and color with shading. That's what I did.

How to Draw

When you start your drawing you should make basic shapes such as circles.

If you animal has legs you should add parallel lines to shape it. As you see in 

tis picture of a cow it shows parallel lines and basic shapes. I know what 

your think " That looks nothing like a cow! " You know whwt I

agree it looks nothimg like a cow but it will if you follow the steps.

Most people find the hardest thing about drawing is what to draw. The artists who drew the pictures below and on the right had an idea to draw a dinning room and a chandilier. They were probally looking or thinking of what they drew. So that's what you should do. It works for me.
